Ingredients
2 lemons, sliced
1 whole garlic bulb, cloves peeled
1 large piece fresh ginger, sliced
3–4 cinnamon sticks
2 cups raw honey
Instructions
Wash the lemons and ginger well.
Slice the lemons and ginger into thin rounds.
Peel the garlic cloves.
In a clean glass jar, layer the lemon slices, garlic, ginger, and cinnamon sticks.
Pour the honey over everything until fully covered.
Close the jar tightly and let it sit for 24–48 hours before using.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
How to Use
Take 1 tablespoon daily.
You can also mix a spoonful into warm water or tea.
Notes
This mixture is popular as a homemade wellness tonic because the ingredients contain antioxidants and strong flavors often associated with soothing colds or sore throats. However, it does not “cure everything,” and it should not replace medical treatment. Avoid giving honey to babies under 1 year old.
